Why a special website for field hockey players who are gay or lesbian?. Very simple, because there is more to life than your disposition and besides, it is sometimes nice to play hockey with like minded people. What's more, is that it is always nice to have a some more hockey friends especially when they live in different parts of the world.

To increase the number of teams worldwide we are looking for gay and lesbian field hockey players. It does not matter if you are a good hockey player or not, participation and enjoyment is the most important requirement. It is not our intention to set up a competition but to organise practises, get togethers and nights out. We also are looking at competing in certain tournaments each year with our main aim being, to compete at the Euro and Gay Games. At the Gay Games in Sydney 2002 there were 7 ladies and 3 men's teams. We think it is possible to increase this number. There are now players from England, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, South Africa, Austalia, New Zealand, Canada, Schotland, USA and Argentina. Our first goal is to set up men's and women's teams in Europe and America. So if you do not know any other field hockey players do not worry as we will attempt to set up composite teams. There are already men's teams in Australia, Argentina and The Netherlands. Complete women's teams are coming from Australia, New Zealand and Germany.
